ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.

MAN DRINKS POISOXT. . A constable wa3 called into a house in Hobson Street early this morning by a woman named Mary Ann Dennison, who stated that she thought■•her husband had taken poison. The constable, on entering thie house, found a man named Wililam Edward Dennison in a state of partial collapse, apparently suffering from the effects of poison. Dennison was taken to the hospital, where he admitted that he had taken a quantity of poison. His condition ia thought to be serious. ~
