ROLL OF HONOUR.

■ I CORPORAL D. C. MISSEN. Acting-Corporal David Curry Missen, who was killed in action on January 7, was jn the New Zealand Rifle Brigade. He was a fourth son of Mr. B. T. Missen, clerk of the Court at Akaroa, and \v~as born at Wanganui in August, 1868. He was a keen member of the Dunedin Field Artillery and of the Pirates Football Club, and after leaving the Civil service he was engaged in farming. He volunteered for service in January, 1916. SAPPER F. H. RALPH, Sapper F. H. Ralph, who has died of wounds, was the seventh son of the late Colonel Ralph, and was born in Dublin. He first saw service with the Seventh New Zealand contingent in the Boer war. Some five months ago he was in hospital suffering from the effects of gas, but he recovered and returned to the firing line. He died from wounds received at Armentieres three months ago. , .

AWARDED TO GUNNER E. I. PRIME. Private advice has just been receivethat Gunner >E. I. Prime, of Calliope Road, Devonport, has received the Military Medal for bravery during the battle of tha Sommc. Gunner Prime, who is the fourth son of Mr. Fred Prime, ironmonger, Karangahape Road, is twentytwo years' old. He left New Zealand with the Seventh Reinforcements, .and was in Egypt for some months prior to being transferred to France.
