PONSONBY TRUMPET BAND CONCERT.

The Beresford Street Hall was packed last night, tbe occasion being a concert tendered by friends of the band. A fine programme was submitted, and encores were the order of the evening. Miss Rona Kino was in excellent voice, and her singing of "11 Baclo" and Tostl's "Good-bye** was greatly appreciated. Miss Dufty, in ragtime selections, showed herself to be an expert exponent of this popular music Mr. Arthur Pearson, In his unique musical specialty act, scored a decided success, whilst Lai Hut and Reeder evoked continued applause. The comic element was supplied by Mr. Orm. James (elocutionist) and Mr. Malcolm (whose gagging and songs fairly captivated the audience).
