MASTER PLUMBERS.
■ NEW ZEALAND CONFERENCE. The annual conference of'the New Zealand Master Plumbera" Federation commenced in Wellington on Wednesday. Tiie following resolutions were carried: "That it be a recommendation to the Plumbers' Board to procure an .amendment to the Act giving the Board power to compel local bodies to procure bylaws, and that copies be available for distribution to plumbers having to carry but sanitary plumbing under such bylaws." "'Re appointment of assistant supervisors for examinations by Plumbers' Board —that each union affiliated to the Federation be -ueked to recommend a master plumber, being affiliated to the Federation, for appointment as assistant supervisor for the union's district." "That this conference recommends to the Plumbers' Board that inspectors be appointed wihereby the provisions of the Plumbers Registration Act would rigidly be enforced in gazetted districts."
