AVERESCU TAKES OVER COMMAND IN TRANSYLVANIA.
(Received 12.30 p.m.) BUCHAREST, October 11. General Averescu, the Rumanian. Commander-in-Chief, has been appointed to command the Second Army, which is operating in the Transylvanian Alps, in the Kronstadt sector. General Christiescu takes oyer the command of tbe Dobrudja.
