At Albert yards on Friday horses were penned in average numbers, and sold at last week's rates. At Clevedon on Saturday we had a full yarding of cattle, practically- all being sold at the ruling high rates. At Pukekohe on Monday we held a special dairy sale. There was a large yarding, and prices were better than they have been for some time. Best dairy cowe. £11 10/ to £17 5/: others, £7 15/ to £10 15/:. aged and inferior cows, £4 to £6 IS/: best dairy heifers, £11 to £18; others, £7 to £10 10/: bulls, most of which were Shorthorns, sold at late values, best making to 15gs; others, 6gs upwards. At Pukekohe on Tuesday we held our monthly sale. when, notwithstanding the very bad weather, we report a full yarding. Competition was very Keen, and almost without • exception Everything changed hands at late high rates.
