ARRIVAL OF HON. A. M. MYEBfi.
The Hon. Artnur M. Myers, Minister of Munitions, and Supplies and Acting .Finance Minister, arrived from Wellington, by the Main Trunk train this morning, accompanied by his private secretary, Mr. C. .A. Jeffery, and-will be occupjed.'in Auckland, for several. ' days .on public and departmental business. The Minister will attend the' farewell parade of the troops of the Eighteenth Reinfforceinents' in the Domain on Saturday, and on Monday will welcome borne the returning New Zealand members of Parliament "who visited the Old Country at the-invitation of the Imperial Government. . -
The Hon. Jas. Allen, Acting Prime Minister and 'Minister of Defence, will pay a flying visit to Auckland on Friday, retorning Sonth by Satnrday'e midday train. . '
