HAMILTON TENNIS CLUB.
A PROFITABLE SEASON'
The report of the Hamilton Tennis Club presented at tbe annual meeting, Indicated that the Interest shown ln the game last season was not so keen as during the previous yenr. This was due to the fact that 20 of the club's most energetic players were ou active service. The membership had fallen by 36, the roll now standing at 32. The year was commenced with a credit balance of £54 8/5, and concluded with a credit of £61 18/6. The following officebearers were elected:—'President, Dr Brewls; vice-presidents, Messrs. H G. Fabling, and O. Farrcr; secretary, Mr W il. Jaine: auditor, Mr. G.. P. Rogers'; Ladles' Committee, Misses English, Drake, Haywood, and Mrs. Clay; General Committee. Messrs. Clay. Speight, Smith, Hunter, and A. Sims. The courts will be open on October 21.
