GERMANS BRING UP BIG GUNS.

TOhen the Germans evacuated fortified trenches to the -east of Morval, on the Somme front, they abandoned nine 88mm. guns (about 3sin). This is the first occasion on which guns of this size have been seen in the trenches. Presumably they were to be- used in attacking the "tanks."
