DOMINION SCOUTS.
SIR B. BADES.POWHL. SHOWS KEEN INTEREST. i * 1 The high opinion of New Zealanders in j general which Sir Robert Baden-Powell ! has often expressed is shown once more in a letter just received from him by Horace Stubbing, Auckland District Commander of the Boy Semite. | "I am glad to hear of the readjustment of the Scout movement on to a satis-fac- , tory basis in Auckland.' , he writes, "and I congratulate you on the results of your personal services and efforts in bringing ! this about. The Scouts seem to be as efficient as they are numerous, and sinew so large a proportion of the boys in the: Dominion are now Scouts. I look forward to the ideals of our movement becoming those of the entire manhood of New Zealand in the near future. All the same. 1 do not think that New Zealand requires them so much as many ether countries (for I have an enormous admiration for Xew Zealanders. whether Boy Scouts or not), but such a contingent will be a splendid addition and example in the World Brotherhood of Scouts, and I am more glad than I can say to hear that all is going well with them now in your Dominion."
