RECRUITING.
A GOOD RESPONSE. THIRTY-TWO ENLIST. TWELVE DEFERRED. Thirtytwo men enlisted at the City Recruiting Station since the "Star" went to press yesterday. Of. that number eight were rejected as unfit for active service, and twelve deferred. The following are the names, occupations, and addresses of those accepted:— NO. 1 (CITY) GROUP. Edward R. Watson Brown, Ciftl servant, Department of Agriculture. William J. Leitch, carpenter, Arney Road, Remuera.
