Admiral Seheer writes that the fleet expects soon to meet the sea tyrant, and disingenuously adds: "God help •us! 3 ' CANADA'S MEN AND MONEY. | MORE CASUALTIES THAN i RECRUITS. LOAN OVER-SUBSCRIBED. (Renter's Telegrams.) (Received 1.5 p.m.) ■ OTTAWA, October 5. The recruits enlisted in Canada during j September were 6,300, while the casualties were 12,000. The total enlistments in Canada are 365,000 to date. The war loan was over-subscribed to such an extent million subscribed by the banks was refused. Preference will bBl given to the smaller investors.
