OCCIDENTAL CONSOLIDATED. tA GOOD RETURN. The manager of the Occidental Consolidated G.M. Co., Thames, telegraphed that he had.crushed 43 loads of general ore {or a return of llloz of gold. A trial crushing of four loads of ore from the low level yielded lloz of retorted bullion. The total value of the yield is estimated to be about £325* CONSOLIDATED GROUP OF MINES. MONTH'S RETURNS. The crushing returns from the Consolidated Group of Alines, Reefton, for the month ending September are as follows:— Progress.—Crushed 2,100 tons, value £2,390; working expenses, £2407; capital, £17, development £560. Blackwater. — Crushed, "3,311 tons, value £0,647; working expenses, £3,600; capital £531, development £896.
