An account was submitted detailing the operations of the recently acquired steam road roller. The. total" receipts for the use of the roller by other local bodies were £261 11/11. On the debit side, wages amounted to £142 19/5; material. £19 5/5; repairs, fit 13/6; and fuel, £58 11/1.. The Board itself hod had the - free use- of the roller for thirty days; and this, added to the assets such as the scraper, jack; and a quantity of timber, brought the.total profit to about £150.
