DROWNED AT WAIKATO HEADS

•A launching excursion from Tuakau; to the Waikato Heads on Sunday.last had a sad ending, one of the party, Mr.; Kenneth Entwhistle, aged about 35 years; being drowned. -When the launch reached tie Heads all on board except Mr. EntwMstle and 3.1r. Alfred T-apwood. the owner of the launch, went ashore, the two in question remaining on the boat to do some fishinsr- Whole they were so engaged the launch began to drag its anchor, and, to find better holding ground, it-was decided to move to another spot. The owner started the engine, and went forward to "weigh the anchor, leaving Mr. Entwhistle at the engine-room door, but -wihen he returned Entwhistle was struggling in the water 6bme distance away, and before assistance could be Tendered he disappeared.
