ONE-TREE HILL'S PROGRESS.

At a meeting of the One-tree Hill Road Board held last night, the Clerk, Mr W; Hogg, submitted a report covering the income and' expenditure for the whole district over the last twenty rears. -The Teport showed- that in the year ending Marci 31, 1896, the total income was £623 2/1, the total rates being £349 7/5. and the total value* £176,698. For the year ending with March of this year, the figure* were: Income, £6174 14/4; rates, £4634 14/9; and ratable value, £1,280,114. In 1913 Beresford Park and the St. George's and -Pere Pere Estates were transferred over to Oneaunga, thae'ieducing the- ratepayers' roll valuation and income correrpondingly.
