"He came home last night," stated a bright-faced woman who came into the Police Court this morning, with three young children in her wake, when called to substantiate a charge of failure to maintain against her husband, who ha 4 been ttrrested on her information. While the mother was explaining to the trtite that her remark meant that she and htr husband had "made it up," one of the children, a cheery little tot of three, entered on a buey investigation of the waste paper basket at the clerk's table. Just as this Worship had satisfied himeelf that the woman did not wish to proceed with the charge, and had ordered it to be struck-out, the little investigator caught eight of her father in the dock, and, with the frank impulsiveness of her kind, at once cheerfully yodelled out "Dada!" Which formed a fitting climax for the family reconciliation! though Uβ iinueuabieee threw into relief the eordidnese which marke the one-! ternary trend of Utiak oaawp in toe Police Court.
