GREENLAND AS NAVAL BASE.
VALUE TO U.S.A. (Australian and X.Z. Cable Association.) (Received 5.6 a.m.) NEW YORK, September 11. Admiral Peary, in commenting on the proposal to transfer America's interests in Greenland to Denmark, urges that that Greenland would be of great value to the United States as a naval base.
