The whole object of tte censorship is to encourage proprietors to obtain films that will not need eengoring. He believes that after experience this desira/hle result will ultimately "be achieved. . . -•.. / The regulations provide for the folio**, ing scale of fees:—First examinatiog by the censor, a fee of 5/ for firet 1,000 f*et ; . or part thereof; eecpnd, 2/6 for "every-' 500 feet after thte first thousand; third, the same fee will be charged for re-eei-ination of censored films after by owners on the censor's in»tructioni; v .t fourth, for appeal there will be a fee»p ■_ to 10/ per 1,000 feet, with a> miaimuai charge of 30/ for each film.
