FACTIONS IN GREECE
SUPPRESSED BY GOVERNMENT. (Australian and "S.Z. Cable Association.) ATHENS, September 11. Armed men entered the courtyard of the French Legation while the Entente Ministers were meeting in conference. They fired pistol shots, and cried "Long live the King; down with England and France!" The men then fled. The Premier (M. Zaimis) called at the Legation and apologised. The Government has decided to suppress the so-called reservists' leagues, ■which arc encouraged by the Gotrnariat. Press. The leagues sent patrols to search the houses of Venizelists, and have committed other outrages.
