"O'Leary, V.C.," is to be repeated this evening, but will be replaced to-morrow evening by "The Colleen Bawn." QriEtRA iHOUiSE. The showing of the film called "The Ne'er-do-well" has proved an unqualified success at the Lyric Theatre. The picture is stamped with the same vigorous and gripping character as tnait of the original novel by 'Hex Beach. A Metro, production of outstanding 'merit entitled "The Final Judgment" le running ot the Princess Theatre. Another entertaining item on the bill Is "Their Quiet -Little Honeymoon," In -Which, the popular Mt. and Mrs. Sidney Drew appear. "The Good Bad Man." which is being featured «t 'Everybody's Theatre, has quailties which make the picture different In many ways from other big Western pictures. There is an inviting supporting list. Charlie Chaplin's genius for doing fnirny things is well-demonstrated by the film called "il-lis Ambition,'' which tops the, list «t the Queen's Theatre. The supports include an A.B. drama called "-Hen-vest." A "Bluebird" masterpiece called "The ' Tequi" is being shown at the King George Theatre, where it is drawing crowded houses. The fifteenth episode of the sensational "Broken Coin" series Is also screened under the title of 'Tsie Deluge." A "Triangle" play called 'fdre Good Bad Man'" ls a feature of the programme at the King's Theatre. The picture tells a vivid and exciting story of life in Western America. A Charlie Chaplin hit, "His Tfysttag Place," is an additional attrac-. tion. The drama called "Harvest" is proving a big draw at the Grafton Theatre, where it is being shown with several other good films. Including a Charlie Chaplin farce called "VHIr Ambition." A •srnsitionnl Keystone comic, called "The Lion nnd the Girl," which combines tbTffls with its funny sites—tons, is the best pictures -shown, .at the .Grand Theatre. The remainder ot the BiH~ is varied and attractive. Charles Chaplin and Mabel Nortnand join forces to" -produce the delightfully -fanny film entitled "'His Trystrng Place,'' which is filling the Globe Theatre with wellpleased patrons. . . A society drama, called "The Butterfly on the Wheel,'' is the nrincipeti subject on the list at the Arcadia Theatre. At the Tlbeatre Royal, Kingsland. the fare offered includes a powerful drama called "Pernrington's Choice," which features Francis X. Bushman, and other well-known plctnre-playejß. Tho five acts of tne picture called "The Grip of Jealousy," showing at the Empress Theatre, are crammed with sensational incident. ORDER OF FORESTERS. The Ancient Order of Foresters .held a i combined social of the City Courts at tie Edinburgh Street Hall last evening. There was a good attendance, many visitors from the various Courts in the suburbs being present. The opening address was delivered by Bro. Howell, C.R., who presided. A 6hbrt outline of the history of the Order was given by Bro. Stanley Reid. P.C.8., who gave the earlier part of the eighteenth j century as the probable commencement of the Order. Laws forbidding the formation of secret societies somewhat retarded its progress, but at the present time there were Courts in nearly every civilised country,, controlling a sum of abont £11,000,000. Several musical items were presented during the evening, and a most enjoyable evening was spent.
