ANGLICAN CITY MISSION. Dr. A. W. Averill, Bishop of Anckland. and the Evangelical Council have offered the position of Anglican City iMtesloner to Mr. Arthur P. Cowie, of the Flying Angel Missions to Seamen. Mr. Cowie has accepted tbe position, and takes over his new work in October, in conjunction with his sailors' mission. Mr. Cowie was educated at St. Paul's, London, alio at the Church of Rncland Grammar School. Parnell, and at Wangsnui College, where he distinguished himself in Greek and in athletics.
