CORRESPONDENCE.

m NOTICES TO CORRESPONDENTS. MEETINGS.—In regard to rough minutes at the close of a meeting, there is no rule outside those adopted by any i particular society. In calling for the reading of the minutes, therefore, the ruling of the chairman in the case cited was correct, namely, that rough minutes could only be called for upon a specific motion that they should be read. Such a motion it would, be competent for those present to adopt on a I majority vote. Minutes of a previous meeting must be read, unless it is unanimously agreed that the same be taken as read. If there is one dissentient the minutes must be read.
