FRUIT AX© PRODUCE MARKETS. ■ Business i the fruit and produce markets has been good during the week, andfalr supplies of local fruit .have come to haiut, chiefly of apples, both cooking' acln deesert. The demand is good. Other local small fruit in season is . selling well. I.omnns are easier. Sydney fruit by the Victoria reached the market in Rood order, and sold well. The Talnne landed a lance cargo of bananas. The condition-generally wae good, and prices wero better than last month. Island oranges are expected shortly; the market is getting barer Totatoes are in good supply, and best'samples fire well sold. Small and bllghty are neglected.
