SOLDIERS' PENSIONS.
BRITAIN'S HUGE ANNUAL BILL. (Renter's Telegrams.) LONDON, July 21. The Chancellor of the Exchequer (Mr McKemia) informed a deputation from municipalities that a grant of £6,000,000 had been placed at the disposal of the Statutory Committee for Pensions after the war, in addition to the large amount already granted. The Government was now spending £80,000,000 annually in separation allowances and pensions
