3IATAKAXA EXPERIEXCES. The annual report' of the Matakaua Cooperative Dairy Co., Ltd., showed that the season recently ended has been a record one. A bonus of 3id was paid to suppliers, making 1/2$ net paid for butter-fat. The report stated: "This means that with - share capital and ca;rtage added the company has paid slightly over 1/4 Jor butter-fat." Mr. J. K. Campbell, secretary to the company. has furnished the "Rodney and Otamatea Times" with the following figures, showing the returns of three herds supplying the Matakana factory: — Xo. 1 Herd—ls cows. .Xet returns from factory £176 g .j Do from pigs a c n (1 15 calves at £4 60 0 0 Total £262 6~4 Average per cow, £17 9/9, Xo. 2 Herd—2o cows. Xet returns from factory £226 0 0 Do from pigs 5l Q 0 IS calves at £3 10/ « 63 0 0 Total '£340 0 0 Average per cow, £1". . Xo. 3 Herd—l 3 cows.
