Many extraordinary wills have been lodged at probate oflices. A particularly interesting one has just been filed in Adelaide. A Port Adelaide widow, who died recently, apparently found the companionship of her fawn-coloured deg Toby a great comfort. Rather than east her canine companion out into an uncertain world at her death, the animalloving , widow bpqueathed'Toby to a commercial traveller, with £20 added for the dog's upkeep. Toby, .however, will not get the full amount. The faithful hound is a "stranger in blood," and therefore the Government -will (says the Adelaide "'Register") begin nibbling at the windfall by extracting £2. " which -will fonst JO percent succession duty.
