Eyan), who has been on a visit to England, has arrived here, on his way back to Australia. In the course of an interview Mr. Ryan advocated the establishment of a direct steamship line between
San Francisco and Brisbane, in order to foster trade. He intends to point out the possibilities of a greater trade being carried on between Australia and America.
