SINN FEINERS AT CORK. IRISH M.P. ARRESTED. (Australian and X.7.. Cable Association.) LONDON", July 16. Mr. John Redmond, leader of the -Nationalist party, replying to the Marquis of Lansdowne's letter regarding the exclusion of Lister, says the matter can only bo cleared up by the production of the Government's amending bill. He is loth to believe that Cabinet favours naked coercion. -Mr. Ginnell. Independent Nationalist member in the House of Commons for Westru-ath North, has been remanded at flow Street. He is charged under the Defence of the Realm Act with entering Knutsford Prison under a false name to interview Sinn Fciners. Sinn Feincrs at Cork welcomed a batch of released prisoners. They pelted tho police with missiles, and the police used their batons and dispersed them. MORE PRISONERS RELEASED. BIG CONVENTION IN THE AIR.
(Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received 11.55 a.m.) LONDON, July 16. One hundred Irish prisoners, who have been released, arrived at Dublin tliii morning. Elaborate precautions wore taken to prevent disturbances. The prisoners landed quietly, and then went away with their waiting relatives. It ie believed that a jrreat convention of Nationalists is being arranged in Dublin for the present week. It is not known whether the military will permit the meeting.
