TURK BASES RAIDED.
EFFECTIVE BRITISH MARCH. (Australian, and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received 8.40 a-m.) LONDON, July 16. ' It is officially announced that two British columns starting from the Sinai shore of the Gulf of Suez operated against the enemy on the Sinai Peninsula The troops* traversed 60 miles of ■difficult ground, and raided several of the bases of the enemy. Stock and prisoners were captured. The British troops did not suffer any casualties.
