BACK FROM THE WAR.
A CIVIC RECEPTION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDLV, this day. The Ulimaroa's men were tendered a civic reception and luncheon this morning. Replying to the welcome, Lieuten-ant-Colonel Hughes, CM.Cr., D.5.0., said what impressed them most was the work ol the 29th Division at Gallipoli; he was proud to be associated with such fine men. On Anzac Day the New Zealandera did not forgot them, and think that the Anzacs were the only troops on GallipolL The behaviour of the New Zealandcrs was excellent everywhere. Ho paid a tribute to the bravery of the chaplains, doctors, and stretcher-bearers, who were simply magnificent. He spoke in glowing terms of General Godlcy, who worked unceasingly, never sparing himself.
