TWELVE MEN SIGN ON.

FIVE ACCEPTED.

Thirteen men. enlisted since the "Star" , went to press yesterday, but the percentage of this number immediately accepted as lit At-as small, no more than five men completely satisfying the doctor. Of the remainder four were rejected, while foTir others were tempoTarily deferred. A large number of men who were defen-ed for treatment at a previous examination have now satisfied the medical officers as to their fitness for service.
