U.S. NAVAL BILL
NEW YORK, July 14.
Speaking in the Senate in the debate on the Naval Bill, Mr Swanson said that only by having a navy second to Britain's could the United States maintain her prestige and the Monroe Doctrine.-
With the Republicans pledged not to obstruct the bill, its passage is expected in. ten. days.
