An oflicial communique says:—-On theStokhod front the enemy is attacking our advanced troops on the left bank of the river. Desperate Austro-German coun-ter-attacks are in progress westward of the Strypa.
'"Our offensive -westward of Erzerum is developing with great success. We captured another whol.e line of fortified positions. One of our regiments, after repulsing twelve desperate tounter-attaeks, is now attacking and making considerable progress." "
