THE KAKAHI TRAGEDY.
ARREST OF CLARK. A SERIOUS CHARGE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TATJMARUNUI, thie day. James Clark, whose name is mentioned in connection with Mrs. Jeffrey and the Kakahi tragedy, was arrested neaT Tai bape yesterday on a charge of having committed an unnatural offence against a boy at Kakahi on April 29th. Accused was brought before the Court at Taumarunui this morning and remanded till to-morrow. Bail wae allowed, in two sureties of £250 each. The police will be prepared to go on with, the case tomorrow.
