SENORITA 52 DAYS OUT.
BOUND FROM AUCKLAND TO SYDNEY. NOT YET AT DESTINATION. The eteel barquentine Senorita, which is bound from Auckland to Sydney, has not yet arrived at the Australian port. She left Auckland on 22nd May, now being 52 days out. Her cargo is of timber loaded at this port. In conversation this morning, one of Auckland's most prominent authorities on sailers said that the Senorita had only been recently docked at Sydney, so that she was clean, and in Captain Denison's capable hands she should have made Sydney long before this. Though Sydney shipping masters do not seem concerned as to the barquentine's safety, it is certainly about time that she was showing up at Sydney. The Kona. bound from here to Newcastle, is now 24 days out.
