ITALIAN APPLAUSE
FOR BRITISH SUCCESS. (Received 11.5 a.m.) ROMtf, July 2. The Italian Props contains appreciative references to the success of the British attack on the German lines. The Union Jack was flown generally on public and private buildings, and a large crowd of people cheered outside the British Embassy and elsewhere.
