WAR LOAN EXPENDITURE.

PATIENTS TO MARCH, £8,015:000. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, Friday. In reply to a question by Dr. Newman, who asked when a statement of war loa.n expenditure would he presented to tlie House, the Hon. James Allen stated that the total expenditure, of the war loan up to March 31 last, so far as payments are concerned, was £8.015,000. That did not include the wiolc expenditure. Thero were readjustments to be made with the Imperial Otovemment. and he expected those readjirstments for a year and ten months would be close on £5.000,000. He added, in answer to Mr. Wilford, that we had received, so far. a-boiit £10,000.000 from the Old Country. He promised to have a return prepared on the subject to be presented to Parliament.
