8 A most enjoyable concert was proj vided by Mrs. Raj'nor, of Epsom, in the f room lately occupied as the Soldiers' v Club room in Queen Street on Friday * evening, when the apprentices from the c s.s. Aparima, ako firemen and sailors c from s.s. Rnapehn, and men from other vessels were present. Amongst the items were songs and recitations by the Misses Raynor. Ladies from the Civic League took an active part in providing suppei and cigarettes. Mr. Arthur P. Cowk thanked Mrs. Raynor and the ladies who had so generously come forward, aod cheers were given by tie sailors and stokers. A sale of work is being held at St .'Sepulchre's Parish Hall in aid of th< organ fund ..opened by Mrs. Averill Concert and entertainment this evening tj All old parishioners and friends are cor dially invited* . ___
