BOWLING.
GREY LYXN CLUB. The annual meeting of the Grey LyunBowling Club was held on Wednesday evening, the retiring president, Mr R. H. Johnson, occupying the chair. The treasurer's report and balancesheet showed that club has had a very successful year, and has been , ji,hle„,.to,,,redeem a further sixty-two debentures, aud while still maintaining a good credit balance has been able to do its share in subscribing to the various patriotic ■ funds. A substantial amount was subscribed in the * room towards the Trophy Fund for the en- . suing year, and an enthusiastic meeting was brought to a close with votes of thanks to the ladies of the Croquet Club, the retiring officers and the I'ress. DEVONPORT CLUB/. The annual meeting 'of the Devonport - Bowling Club was held ou Wednes- - day evening.
