A BASELESS RUMOUR.
(By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. Mr. Thomson (Wallace) questioned the Minister for Defence to-day regarding a rumour prevalent in Trentham that sickness had broken out on a troopship. The Hon. J. AHen replied that he had been in touch with the troopship, and knew that the rumour was absolutely b ageless.
