CITY SCHOOLS. i The meeting of the City Schools' Com- ; ■mittee last night was attended oy Messrs A. Rose (chairman), P. DromgooL W. I Tnilby, W. S. Kindly, G. Davles, E. TUlcy, 1 J. Grace, G. Partington, and W. Kane. 1 A requisition from the headmaster of the Nelson Street school for science apparatus was granted, the cost to tie borne equally by the Education Board and the committee. A resolution woe passed requesting the secretary to prepare for the next meeting ■ of the committee a statement showing the actual amount owed by each school fo' water, the meters to be read three days before the meeting.
