I- l . GRAFTOX FOOTBALE CLUB. I •The annual meeting of the Grafton Football Club will be held on Wednesday night at S p.m., at training shed, Edeu iStreet, Mount Edeij. It was reported that six dubs had definitely nominated a senior team cacti, and in view of this fact it was deeinci inadvisable to accede to the suggestion that a senior team should be entered by the nerwly-formed Garrison Artillery Oub. because of possible weakening of existing dubs. It was decided to ou'er the new, organisation affiliation as a. Junior club. 1 > The Auckland Dramatjc and Vaufleville Employees' Association wrote asking the assistance of the League in its efforts to raise ±3000 for the equipment of' the Children's Hospital. The meeting'decided to give the Association the proceeds of a special match'to I>e played on Victoria Park towards the end of June. ' * The Telegraph Messengers* Crab wrote nominating a team for the sixth grade, and ! the secretary -was instructed to make the necessary arrangements for affiliation 7 ! At the request of the Otahuhu Club the committee decided to make representations to the .Railway Department to again allow a special train to be run for the accommodation of football players, spectators,- and •the general public to Qtahuhu oa Saturday, afternoons during the craning season.
