City Scouts and tbe older boys from marine suburbs are to muster at Grafton Bridge at 2 p.m. The Mayor has provided n special tranicar to convey the yosngur hoys attached to Waitemata troops to Greenwood's Corner. This will leave the foot of Quecu Street at -i.35 p.m. Two cars will leave Uralton Bridge at 2.45 p.m. for ihe benefit of the smaller Scouts of the city troops. The older members of troops mustering at Grar. ton Bridge will proceed, via Mt. Eden Koad to Greenwood's Corner, where they will linect troops from -lU'niaera, Epsoni and adjacent districts, and the boys conveyed by cars, and will afterwards proceed to •tneir destination. T-he Mt. Eden Kingsland, Dominiou lload, iMt. Albert, Edendale ttul other troops will join the troops from the city at convenient points along the Hoc or march. 'Every effort should be made to avoid delay in marching off from Greenwood s Corner at U. 15 p.m., so as to reach Mr Gunson's residence not later than 3.30 ■p.m. Patrol leaders will no doubt turn out their patrols so tbat they may be a credit to them. The -Mayor has expressed rite hope that all the iovs in toe Auckland Central district may be able to attend. I An important meetjiig of Scout ofheers is called for 7.30 .p.m. at the V.M.C.A. Rooms on Tuesday next, when a large attendance is expected. I The Scouts of the Waltemata East Division, will avail themselves o{ the Mayor's { iuvitation for Saturday next. The division will muster in Quay Street, outside the Ferry Buildings, at 1.50 p.m. The parade will then march to the Grafton Bridge, •where they will joia ihe main procession, and proceed to the Mayor's residence at Epsom for the afternoon. Scouts are expected, to be dressed iv full marching older. stave and haversack, however, are not to be carried. The Uevonport section will take the 1.20 p.m. -boat from Devonport. The Waltemata. East Fife and Ortim Band will accompany the division, meeting the divl-1 siou at Grafton Bridge at i.15 p.m. Scoutmaster J. L. Turner, visited Avon-1 dale on (Tuesday evening for the purpose of resuscitating the local troop. For some I time past the boys have been without ,a' scoutmaster, and have consequently found la difficulty in Meeting as a troop. Scoutmaster Turner lias already done splendid, work In the Edendale district with hht large troop, and is most enthusiastic. His endeavours on behalf of the Avondale boy* are meeting with, success. iNexl week ue hopes arrangements will be completed for permanent quarters for the-Scouts, and he will then instruct the hoys immediately for their second-class test. A new troop us about to be started at JPapatoetoc. The usual week-end camp of the iDevonport Battalion will be attended this week by the No. 'J Troop. Boys who Intend to go to Rangitoto will leave Devonport by the 1.20 p.m. boat, taking with them the usual kit.
