I On Saturday next tbe Waitemata Club will hold an "At Home" at their green, adjoining the Little Shoal Bay Reserve. Northcote. The two Roroufh Councils have agreed to meet and play a game of boiviG, and- mnrb Interest ls being evinced ln the contest. Visitors will hare an opportunity 'to vtsh rhe reserve adjoining the green. ! This reserve, belonging to the two boroughs, contains about four acres of beautiful native bush, and Is well worth a visit. WHOLESALE AND RETAIL GROCERS. The third, match of the season was played yesterday on the Mt Albert bowling green at the Invitation of Mr. A. W. Page abd after a very enjoyable game, the rubber went to the Retailers. The condition of the ground gave greal satisfaction to the players, and called forth three hearty cheera at the close of the game, for the caretaker. The hospitality of Mr. A. W. Page and the ill.
