ACCIDENT TO BALLOON.
NARROW ESCAPE OF FRENCH OBSERVER .-'-'-'' PARIS, March 22. - The rope holding a captive balloon at' a heigbt.'of tljoOOft -on;the'French-front broke. The occupant of the .balloon used a parachute, which did not open until after a drop of 150 ft, and the aeronaut then -'planed gently, down. He alighied 500 yds outside the" German trendies and returned to the French lines.
