DOMINION HEROES.

Lieutenant Harold William Jennings (eldest son of Mr W. T. Jennings, M.P. for Tauuiarunui), whose death was recorded laot week, was horu in Auckland. He was educated at St. Patrick's College, Wellington, and entered the service of the Hank of New Zealand at-New. Ply; mouth. Subsequently Mr Jennings received a commission in the Royal Field Artillery, and went across to France in 1915. He took part in the great advance, at Loos, and at Hill 70. His colonel, the captain, and two lieutenants of his battery were killed,.and he himself was severely wounded. . Air Jennings was sent to Dublin Castle Hospital, and in a letter to his parents stated that the doctors told him lie had been "well peppered," as there, were 40 marks of shrapnel on his body. After convalescence he went up to London to see his brother, Sergeant Alfred Jennings, of the Main New Zealand Expedi-. tiomiry Force. Wellington Battalion.
