BOROUGH COUNCIL TO REVIEW WHOLE QUESTION. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this.day. The Borough Council last night heard deputations from the Chamber of Commerce and fanners in regard to the saleyards. The former wanted an assurance that the Council would spend the £1,500 vetted by the ratepayers for the present site, while the farmers arc seeking to I take a vote of the people as to whether that site will be retained. The fanners have'the option of a site at Claudelands, and it is stated that if the Council is not prepared to move in the matter the farmers on the east side of the river intend to erect yards. The Borou<*h Council will hold a special meeting on Friday to consider the whole question.
