DEED OF SOLDIERS 'CLUB. Y-M-CA. ROOMS TO BE USED. THE AGREEMENT RATIFIED. The deed which makes valid the Y.M.C.A-'s gift of one-third of its building for use as a soldiers' club was ratified this afternoon, when a special meeting of the Patriotic Executive was held to deal with the matter. The Mayor (Mr. J. H. Gunson) presided, and the views of the V.M.C.A. were put forward by Mr. Wesley Spragg, chairman of the committee, which was empowered to make the offer. The structural alterations are to be commenced forthwith, and the soldiers are to be given possession of their portion on April 3 next.
