PATRIOTIC FUNDS.
SUBSCRIPTIONS KEEPING UP. TOTAL NOW £351,794. £G2S FOR AEROPLANE FUND. Donations and subscriptions to the funds of the Auckland Provincial Patriotic and War Relief Association arc still coming in steadily, and the gra,nd total received since the fund was opened now stands at £351,794 15/. Of this, £75,057 8/ was received prior to the carnival, £205,371 14/1 during the carnival, and £11,365 12/11 since. The Mayor's Fund now amounts to £60,251 10/3. It was resolved to urge all branches to collect funds for patriotic purposes; J that all temperance organisations »be . invited to contribute funds, such funds to be acknowledged to the credit of the organisation contributing them- and that the Y.M.OA. be asked to administer the funds.
